Death By Meth

Methamphetamine is a drug that has evolved over the past couple of decades, and has become the world's most dangerous drug. With the ability to be created and cooked in just about any backyard or kitchen, methamphetamine offers its producers with high profits and low risk of being prosecuted due to the infinite amount of production sites. Having side-effects more potent than that of cocaine and heroin, methamphetamine is gaining popularity amongst several communities. Taking on several forms, its most popular being crystallized, methamphetamine offers its consumers various ways to be consumed. Now, almost all meth is produced and sold in its crystallized form and has offered its consumers an easy and cheap way to feel the effects for hours. With the recent release of Breaking Bad in 2008, the popularity of crystal meth has skyrocketed along with its sales. Breaking Bad has had such a strong impact on the world of methamphetamine, that since the debut of the show, the purity of methamphetamine has increased to 80%. As if the purity weren't enough, producers have even began to change the color of their meth, dyeing it blue to match that of the one created by Heisenberg on Breaking Bad. With the aid of the Mexican Drug Cartel, as well as the Colombian Cocaine routes, methamphetamine has been able to reach almost every corner of the continent and has not stopped there. Its reach has extended widely to European and Asian countries, where methamphetamine has become almost as common as a cup of coffee, and to some, a daily necessity to get through the day. While many governments have done everything in their power to completely cease the movement and consumption of this drug, their efforts have been unsuccessful and have only increased the desire and price for this drug within the black market.
